my blood is proof they exist - Pangaea Sofa

Pangaea, is a seating arrangement based on political and social narratives of the Chinese adoptee diaspora. Each unit functions as a separate seat, but when one unit comes into contact with another, they nest together like pieces in a puzzle. Adoptees are dispersed across dozens of countries, but unified by a shared origin point. Ancient pilgrimages, political borders, causeways, and homecoming stories inspired Pangaea’s final form and textile.
